Why build software instead of buying it?
Buy it if it fits. Most owners we meet are already paying for a tool that does most of the job, and doing the rest by hand around it. When the workaround costs more than the software, that is the moment to build.
Isn't custom software a year-long project?
Not the way we do it. We build one working piece first and put it in your hands in weeks. You use it, we learn what was wrong, and the next piece connects to it. Nothing here requires you to guess the whole system up front.
What happens if we stop working together?
It keeps running. The accounts and the data are in your name from the start, and you keep using the software for as long as you run your business. If you want another developer to work on it, the code is available to buy.
Who runs it once it is built?
Your call, and it is not a one-way door. We can host it and keep it looked after, or set it up to run on accounts in your name. Whichever you start with is agreed and priced before we build, and you can move to the other later.
Can it work with the systems we already have?
That is usually most of the job. Software that ignores what you already run just adds another place to type things twice.
